I had seen it in a Channel 9 video (here), but never actually checked it out. When talking to the AWS (Amazon Web Services) representative @ the PDC expo today, I saw liveplasma again. This is a way cool use of Web services. Map your favorite music or videos - the following screenshot is just one example:

Hi Christoph. I met you at the evening event and had the conversation with you about the books you wrote, PDCs, ASP.NET, the good and bad use of the new capabilities of software to store and retrieve large amounts of personal information, music recording and editing software such as Sonar and of course, cars. I have attended all the PDCs since 1992 when Windows NT was first shown on a large scale to developers. Certainly things have accelerated since then. This PDC was full of a huge amount of new information on new development directions and products. I am once again glad that I attended the PDC and overwhelmed with new prospects for developing software. I am in the process of reviewing what I learned and missed so I can try to ride the current software wave.
